Accounts on X posted a video clip showing a large fire in a building, claiming that the video was of Israeli aircraft bombing Isfahan Airport in Iran. The video was accompanied by the following text: “I have good news for you. Strike Isfahan Airport in Iran. Use the famous Arabic proverb that says, strike the head of the snake and the tail falls off.” 

Kashif verified the video via Google Image search, found it to be old and the claim misleading. The video is of a commercial building burning in Huntington Park, California, and not from Iran.

ABC7 posted the video on YouTube on 22/11/2022, with the following title: “Massive fire at commercial building in Huntington Park.”

KTLA 5 also posted the video on YouTube on 22/11/2022, with the following caption: “Fire at a commercial building in Huntington Park.” 

On 4/5/2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened a military response, including Yemen and Iran, after the Houthis targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. 

Netanyahu said via his account on X: “President Trump is absolutely right!

Houthi attacks originate in Iran. Israel will respond to the Houthi attack on our main airport, and at a time and place of our choosing, to their “terrorist” Iranian masters.

The Israeli aircraft launched several raids on Yemen, while the Hebrew Channel 12 reported: “The Israeli raids in Yemen are being carried out in coordination with the United States,” noting that America is bombing Sanaa and Israel is bombing Al Hudaydah. Media outlets affiliated with the Ansar Allah group (the Houthis) reported that an American-Israeli aggression targeted the port of Al Hudaydah in western Yemen with six raids. This targeting comes after the Houthis announced and claimed responsibility for the bombing of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on 4/5/2025.
