تداولت مواقع إخبارية وصفحات وحسابات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي مقطع فيديو مع عنوان: "لقطات من الجو لسفن تنتظر فتح قناة السويس"وذلك في أعقاب جنوح السفينة العملاقة.
الحقيقة أن الفيديو قديم ولا علاقة له بحادثة قناة السويس.
الفيديو منشور على حساب يحمل اسم "Sujeeva SALWATURA" عبر موقع "لينكد إن" قبل حوالي شهر وقيل إنه لسفن في أحد موانئ بنغلادش.
