نشرت العديد من الصحفات عبر فيسبوك وأبرزها وزير الإسكان السابق بنكين ريكاني والناشط السياسي المقيم في أربيل غيث التميمي صورة تظهر علم الدولية العراقية وعلم إقليم كردستان معا وهما يرفعان فوق برج كبير وسط أربيل، في محاولة لإظهار اعتذار عن أحداث مباراة فريقي الشرطة وأربيل.
الحقيقة:
✅ هذا الفيديو منشور في حزيران يونيو 2014 إبان دخول داعش محافظة نينوى. وهو ليس جديدا، إذ لم يصدر أي اعتذار من حكومة أربيل على حادثة المباراة حتى الآن.
