تداولت حسابات وصفحات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، تصريحا منسوبا للرئيس السابق لإقليم كردستان العراق، مسعود بارزاني، ينص على أن "نفط البصرة هو نفط تابع للعراق وعلى أهل البصرة إعطاء حصة الإقليم كاملة، وإلا فستكون العواقب وخيمة".
الحقيقة:
خبر مزيف، فخلال التحقق من صحة التصريح ظهر أنه غير موجود، وهذا ما ظهر من خلال الموقع الرسمي لبارزاني.
وكان بارزاني قد خص أهل البصرة في 2018 برسالة داعمة لمطالبهم وتطالب بإنصافهم.
