قال في حديث صحفي (د6): "نحن لسنا متأخرين او جديدين في العملية السياسية كما اننا لم نشارك منذ عام 2003، شاركنا مشاركة واضحة في العملية السياسية منذ عام 2018".
الحقيقة:
ادعاء غير صحيح، فأول مشاركة لحركة عصائب أهل الحق في العملية السياسية كانت عام 2014، حيث كان يمثل الحركة النائب حسن سالم، حيث مثل الكتلة في البرلمان خلال دورة 2014 - 2018، والذي حصل على 5214 صوتاً انذاك.
وحصلت الحركة في انتخابات عام 2018 على 15 نائب، أما في انتخابات 2021، فقد حصل تحالف الفتح الذي تنضوي فيه عصائب اهل الحق على 17 نائباً.
